It seems the iPod is bringing some Mac converts over from PC land, according to an article at CNET. It's about time. I've been watching Apple evolve for the last few years. Since the release of OS X, Apple really got my attention. Now I own an iMac, iBook, and an iPod. If I could I would quit using my Windows machine all together. And that brings up another issue. I keep getting the argument, run Virtual PC. Well, bullshit. I would rather spend $140 for Windows XP Pro OEM and build or buy an x86 machine than spend $249.95 for Virtual PC for Mac Version 7 - Windows XP Pro, and put that much more money in Bill Gates pocket. I'm done spending money on PC stuff.
So news that people are leaving PC land is good news for me, and I'm sure for Apple as well. Maybe software developers will take Apple and OS X more seriously and start porting Windows only software over to OS X for people like me that refuse to send more money to Bill Gates Evil Empire.
I'd love to switch back to using Macs if I could. I used to use them in college and always felt that Windows was just a poor imitation. I assume that you're a trader or trade frequently. Is there much trading software that runs on Macs?
