Well, it got up to the 90's here in Fenton, Michigan on Memorial Day. Not much of a breeze and some humidity made it a bit sticky. It's a lot better than freezing my ass off in January. By the time I get used to it, the summer will be over and I'll have to adjust to the cold weather again. I hate that. My days in Michigan are numbered.
Well, the parade was even more lame this year than it was last year, but at least they had a memorial service at the cemetary that was good. I just think Memorial Day should be the one day that this country rolls out the red carpet for, not July 4th. While the 4th of July is an important day, without the sacrifices that veterans have made in all the wars the US has been involved in, we would probably be living a very different life than we do; and I like our way of life. So that's my opinion. Memorial Day is the most important day each year in this country.
