This movie lived up to my every expectation. I read some other reviews of it, by movie critics, and one review put this film second to Empire Strikes Back. I would disagree. Empire Strikes Back is a great movie, but Sith has the story we've been hungry for since the first Star Wars: A New Hope. Sith is supposed to be dark and filled with the dark elements that lure Anakin to the dark side of the force, namely: lies, deception, anger and fear. Another thing that sets Sith apart from the others is the special effects technology available to Lucas. Actually, he developed most of it. But, like he said in an interview, the technology now exists to do the Star Wars movies the way he originally wanted to, full of eye popping special effects.
I like this movie for its dark elements and I think it is the best Star Wars movie to date. Lucas says he won't make anymore, and that's a shame. But I think he had so much fun with the Darth Vader character that if he were to do Episode VII, and possibly VIII and IX, he would no longer have the Darth Vader character to play with. Well, I guess he would, just not a dark Anakin, but a reformed Anakin in spirit form. Now that would be interesting. George, you're not dead, nobody really retires, make another.
